How to Watch the 2022 Emmy Nominations

How are the nominees chosen?

According to the Television Academy, awards are split into three categories: program, performer and individual achievement. All 16,000 voting members decide on the honors that fall under “program,” such as Best Drama Series and Best Television Movie, while specific peer groups vote on the other two categories. “Performer” encompasses Best Lead Actress, Best Guest Actor, and so on, while “individual achievement” pertains to directing, writing and other areas.

When are the 2022 Emmys?

The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on Monday, Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on NBC. Additionally, for the first time ever, the ceremony will stream live on Peacock.

Honey Boo Boo and Pumpkin Break Their Silence on Mama June’s Wedding

While both Pumpkin and Alana have met June’s husband, they stayed mum on whether or not they like him. What they didn’t hold back on, however, was whether or not they were upset to miss the ceremony.

“If she feels like we don’t need to be a part of that,” Pumpkin said, “then it is what it is.” June, who has said her wedding to Justin was “so spur of the moment,” is also mom to Anna, 27, and Jessica, 25.

Mama drama aside, both Alana and Pumpkin are focused on their own romantic relationships. While attending a fan meet and greet planned by Gitoni, Inc. at Hollywood Burger on July 10, Pumpkin had the support of her husband Joshua Efird. As for Alana, she was able to enjoy the summer getaway to Los Angeles with her boyfriend Dralin Carswell.

How The Bachelorette Pulled Off Having 2 Leading Ladies

An unprecedented season of The Bachelorette got off to an unprecedentedly awkward start.

After all, with Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia as co-Bachelorettes for the entire season, Bachelor Nation was left with plenty of logistical questions.

Namely, in the immortal words of host Jesse Palmer: “How is this all going to work?”

Well, for starters, a bit uncomfortably!

It was clear that both Gabby and Rachel—who formed a bond during Clayton Echard‘s season of The Bachelor—were very excited to be there. Once the eligible men started to arrive, it became clear that many of them were excited about one thing in particular: talking about Clayton!

There were (bad) jokes about Clayton, there was Ryan who dressed up as a clown and called himself Clayton, there was even a four-person youth choir who sang an original song about Clayton. It was a lot.

“These guys keeping bringing up Clayton,” Rachel said. “I think Gabby and I are okay with not hearing Clayton’s name again tonight.”

The most awkward introduction, however, belonged to John from Nashville, who got Gabby and Rachel’s names mixed up.

“I messed up their names,” John said. “I think that’s a great first impression. Actually, it’s a terrible first impression, but it’s a big impression.”

Whatever you need to tell yourself, John!

What is Mario’s last name and career?

No need to Google, because we know for a fact that this contestant’s full name is Mario Vassall. He said as much on his Instagram account, where he also confirmed that he’s a physical trainer.

“Summer bodies are made in the winter,” he wrote in February. “Don’t wait until May to pursue your goals. Get up and get active now.”

Mario attended North Central College, where he got a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, as well as an MBA.

What is Mario’s age and where is his hometown?

The 31-year-old contestant is from Naperville, Ill. This means Mario is the same age as Gabby and just five years older than 26-year-old Rachel.

Who is Mario’s favorite celebrity?

Mario revealed that he was heartbroken when NBA legend Kobe Bryant passed away. “He was my hero growing up and the reason I started playing basketball and honestly the reason I got into sports / athletics altogether,” he penned in tribute to the late athlete. “This one hits home.”

NFL Player Marion Barber’s Cause of Death Revealed

More information has come to light on the loss of Marion Barber III.

More than a month after the former NFL star was found dead in his apartment, his cause of death has been revealed as a heat stroke, a public information officer with the Frisco Police Department in Texas told E! News on July 11. The medical examiner ruled Marion’s passing as an accident, police said.

Back in June, officers responded to Marion’s residence for a welfare check. There, he was found deceased at age 38, police told E! News at the time.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Marion’s father, Marion Barber II, reflected on the outpour of tributes Marion received beyond his death, noting that it’s “really comforting to know he had that kind of support.”

“I know it feels good to us to know that he was loved and respected that much,” Barber II said in a July 2 interview. “The responses we have seen just warms your heart. That is what my family remembers.”

Kendall Jenner Says Kylie’s Pregnancy Was Like “Birth Control” for Her

Kendall Jenner has no plans to keep up with the Kardashian family baby boom.

In a newly released trailer for season two of Hulu’s The Kardashians—which will premiere on Sept. 22—the supermodel admits she’s not quite ready to become a mom.

As her younger sister Kylie Jenner complains about needing a night out while pregnant with her second child, Kendall is seemingly grateful for her independence.

“I need my first night out,” Kylie is seen telling her sister. “I haven’t had a night out in almost a year.”

The teaser then cuts to Kendall in a confessional. “This is definitely a massive birth control moment for me,” she said. “It’s a lot.”

Back in April, the 26-year-old confessed to E!’s Daily Pop that mom Kris Jenner has been relentlessly pressuring her to start a family.

As she explained, the momager “will just randomly text me and be like, ‘I think it’s time,’ and I’m like, ‘Is this not up to me?!'”

Bachelorettes Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia React to Limo Arrivals

In Bachelor Nation, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

When The Bachelorette host Jesse Palmer teased that season 19 featured some incredibly outlandish limo entrances, we knew we were in store for some surprises on the July 11 premiere episode, especially with the most contestants in franchise history fighting for Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia‘s attention.

However, we weren’t quite ready for James, a self-proclaimed “meatball enthusiast,” who exited the limo with the biggest meatball sandwich known to mankind (we have plenty of questions about how exactly the sandwich fit in the limo, but those will have to wait) or Logan, who carried two baby chicks named Mary Beth and Alejandra in his hands. Two chicks for the two Bachelorettes. Get it?

Of course, it wouldn’t be The Bachelorette without a few renegades who decided to forego the limo altogether!

There was general contractor Tino, who drove into the mansion on a forklift. A bit on the nose, but we guess it worked because he nabbed Rachel’s first impression rose. Not to be outdone, mortgage broker Jacob rode up shirtless on horseback looking like something out of a paperback romance novel.
