Lizzo Shades Liam Payne After His Comments About One Direction

Lizzo is not afraid to speak her mind…even if the truth hurts.

On June 3, the “About Damn Time” singer shared a TikTok video giving her opinions on different trending topics, including Stranger Things and Top Gun: Maverick. And yes, she even discussed Liam Payne, who recently claimed X-Factor judge Simon Cowell created One Direction around him.

“I don’t know who lied to that poor boy,” she said in the video, “but he was not the frontman.”

So, was it Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson or Zayn Malik? We guess we’ll have to wait for the 34-year-old old’s next “TikTok Observations” clip.

As for the latest 1D tea, well…

Last week, Liam essentially told Logan Paul that he was the star of the band, with Simon forming the band after Liam took his advice and returned to the X-Factor stage two years after his elimination.

“From what I’ve heard part of the reason One Direction was made was because of Simon’s promise to me,” Liam said on the May 31 episode of the Impaulsive podcast. “That in two years, I’ll make this work for you. So, he kind of started with my face and worked out around the rest.”

See RHUGT’s Taylor Armstrong Recreate Viral Cat Meme Mid-Fight

The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club has a catfight on its hands.

Peacock debuted a sneak peek of the second season of the crossover franchise during the MTV Movie and TV Awards: Unscripted on June 6. In the clip, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alums Brandi Glanville and Taylor Armstrong are going back and forth, though it’s not exactly clear what they’re so riled up about.

Here’s what we do know, though: Taylor is accusing Brandi of starting drama with an unnamed couple. “You saw his wife,” Taylor says, “and you walked up and asked him if she was a lesbian.” Brandi denies this, only for Taylor to immediately fire back, “He just said it on camera to us!”

Then, all hell breaks loose once Brandi tells Taylor, “If you shut the f–k up for two seconds…”

Vicki Gunvalson gets involved, but you can hardly hear her screams over the sound of Taylor yelling, “Don’t talk to me like that you little f–king bitch!”

Brett Goldstein Teases Ted Lasso’s Future After Season 3

It may be game over for AFC Richmond.

Season three of Ted Lasso may very well be the comedy series’ last—according to Brett Goldstein, that is.

“We are writing it like that,” the actor, who plays Roy Kent on the Apple TV+ hit series, told the UK’s Sunday Times. “It was planned as three. Spoiler alert: everyone dies.”

Okay, we really hope he’s kidding about that last part!

And while that may not be a huge surprise to superfans—after all, co-creators, Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt and Bill Lawrence always planned on a three-series run, Sudeikis teased a brighter future for the show last year.

“The story that’s being told—that three-season arc—is the one that I see, know, and understood,” he shared with Entertainment Weekly. “As far as what happens after that, who knows? I don’t know.”

But Hunt is adamant they stick to the original game plan.

“I think it would be pretty cool if, in the face of how much everyone likes this show,” he told EW, “that we stick to our guns and really just do three seasons.”

Even David Spade Can’t Believe Zendaya & Tom Holland Lost Best Kiss

The MTV Movie & TV Awards has been caught in a web of tweets from #Tomdaya fans.

During the June 5 ceremony, Tom Holland and Zendaya lost the iconic Best Kiss award to Jackass Forever‘s Poopies and, um, a snake, sparking a social media frenzy. A surprised David Spade, who helped present the award, could even be heard on a hot mic asking his co-presenter, Sex/Life‘s Sarah Shahi, “They beat Zendaya?”

The subtle moment got fans’ Spidey senses tingling, with one Twitter user writing, “NO WAY DID JACKASS WIN BEST KISS AND NOT TOM AND ZENDAYA!!! WTF.” Meanwhile, another fan tweeted, “you really telling me zendaya and tom didn’t win best kiss but instead the snake and dude from jackass????? this some bs.”

While the Spider-Man: No Way Home co-stars and IRL couple lost the Best Kiss category, the pair—who have yet to comment and did not attend the ceremony—are still feeling victorious. After all, Tom nabbed the Best Performance in a Movie award for his role as Spider-Man, while Zendaya won for Best Performance in a Show for her work on HBO’s EuphoriaSpider-Man: No Way Home also won for Best Movie.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 Teaser Finally Features Flora

Everything is coming up daisies in the new Fate: The Winx Saga teaser.

Actress Paulina Chávez makes her debut in the season two first look, released June 6 as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week. The preview shows Terra Harvey (Eliot Salt) foraging in the woods when she suddenly hears the sound of footsteps behind her. Preparing for battle, Terra uses her earthly powers to grow vines, which start blossoming with pink flowers. But the sudden blooms make sense when her cousin Flora emerges from behind a tree.

This is the first glimpse fans have gotten of Flora, a newcomer to the live-action series, which was adapted from the Nickelodeon cartoon The Winx Club. Viewers advocated for the fairy to appear in season two after she was seemingly replaced by Terra, a white character, in season one.

And the fans got their wish. In July 2021, Netflix announced that Chávez was set to join the cast, along with Brandon Grace and Éanna Hardwicke, who will play Grey and Sebastian respectively.

“I still stand with you, sissy,” Whitney wrote on Instagram. “Yesterday, today and tomorrow I will always be proud of you for standing up for yourself, for testifying both here in Virginia and in the U.K., and for being the voice of so many who can’t speak to the things that happen behind closed doors.”

Though Whitney knew “the cards were stacked against us,” she said she is proud Amber “stood up and spoke out regardless.”

“I am so honored to testify for you, and I would do it a million times over because I know what I saw and because the truth is forever on your side,” she continued. “I’m so sorry that it wasn’t reflected in the decision made by this jury, but I will never give up on you, and neither will anyone who stands with you. This Westworld Star Is Coming Back From the Dead in Season 4

James Marsden is getting back in the saddle.

While at the ATX Festival June 4, the actor joined the Westworld cast to confirm he will star in season four—but not as Teddy Flood, who he played in seasons one and two.

Instead, he’s set to play a mysterious new character who goes on a date with Christina, another newcomer played by Evan Rachel Wood—co-creator Lisa Joy confirmed that Dolores is in fact dead “but I really like Evan and she’s also kind of clinging so I had to bring her back.”

In season two, Teddy killed himself after Dolores turned him into a ruthless killer during the host rebellion. And while characters are often brought back to life on the HBO series, Teddy was MIA throughout season three.

“Sometimes,” teased Marsden, “you have to go away to come back.”

Naga Munchetty sparks flag fury after critic claims BBC host made ‘mockery’ of Jubilee | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

The 47-year-old sparked a debate on Twitter after she showcased her attire for the big occasion.

Naga sported a cobalt blue trench coat which she teamed with a yellow scarf.

But one social media critic claimed the presenter had worn colours that reflected the EU flag as opposed to the colours of the Union Jack.

Twitter user, @robertm46577593 fumed: “Naga Munchetty BBC wore the EU colours, during her jubilee broadcast, blue coat and huge yellow neck scarf, no one can tell me, she didn’t do this on purpose, and hence was making a political statement, she was mocking the event and laughing at us all.”

Social media users flocked to comment on the post, as many defended Naga, suggesting she had in fact been wearing the colours in support of Ukraine.

@I_J_Roberts commented: “So did the Queen… what’s your point?”

@Gardening wrote: “Lots of people are wearing yellow and blue at the moment and it has nothing to do with the EU, just an act of solidarity with Ukraine.”

@lumpy_stub remarked: “Ukraine colours? Or maybe not everyone is a nationalist who drapes themselves in flags and political colours every minute of the day.”

@Froache replied: “Loving the Ukraine flag dress code @TVNaga01.”

But @Mikesmi70551938 remarked: “Perhaps British colours might have been more appropriate.”

Taking note of the comment, Naga took the opportunity to hit back at the comment.

She responded to the post on June 2, in view of her 272,000 followers.

Naga penned: “Really @MikeSmi70551938? Thanks for the fashion advice. That was sarcasm.”

Fans flocked to offer their support to the BBC host, as @SteveWa tweeted: “If there’s one person on TV who doesn’t need fashion advice, it’s the always chic Naga.”

@FloatyFrocks wrote: “Thought you looked fab this morning.”

@Carol added: “Naga always looks stylish she really doesn’t need any advice from anyone. Plus she has done an amazing job presenting the Jubilee celebrations.”
