Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Get Married in Las Vegas

Following their split, Ben went on to marry actress Jennifer Garner in 2005. The pair, who divorced in 2015, share three children together: daughters Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 10. Jennifer similarly went on to welcome twins, Emme and Max, 14, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, who she split from in 2014.

While Ben and Jen remained on friendly terms throughout the years, the Argo director and “Let’s Get Loud” singer wouldn’t spark relationship rumors again until nearly two decades after their split in April 2021, when, after Jennifer’s break up with Alex Rodriguez, she and Ben were spotted vacationing together in Montana.

Since then, the couple have been inseparable (even with their busy work schedules) and can often be spotted going out on PDA-packed date nights, walking the red carpet or jet setting on a romantic getaway together. And, when they’re not taking the world by storm, the laid-back pair can typically be found enjoying some quality time with their blended family.

In fact, an insider told E! in August that it was extremely important to Jennifer “to get to know Ben’s kids and welcome them into her home and her life,” adding, “They have spent a lot of time getting to know each other and letting the kids have fun and bond.” That includes spending the holidays together including Halloween and Thanksgiving last year.

And while the pair were initially in no rush to tie the knot, when it’s meant to be, why wait? “They are both very secure within their relationship and Ben worships her,” a source told E! in July. “It’s truly meant to be and everyone around them thinks they are a perfect match.”

Inside Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s Road to Marriage

After 20 years together and two engagements, they are set to be legally known as Mr. and Mrs. Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck obtained a marriage license in Las Vegas on July 16, putting them one step closer to being husband and wife.

In the court filing, seen by E! News, J.Lo notes that her name be legally changed to “Jennifer Affleck.” A marriage certificate has not yet been filed.

As fans will recall, the stars, who first met while shooting the 2003 film Gigli, almost made it down the aisle when they got engaged in November 2002. However, less than two years later, the pair called off their wedding and split in January 2004.

Jennifer and Ben rekindled their romance nearly two decades, going public with their relationship in April 2021, following the Marry Me star’s breakup with Alex Rodriguez.

Earlier this year, the Gone Girl star put a ring on it once again. Jennifer nearly broke the Internet when she announced that she and Ben had gotten engaged for a second time via her “On The JLo” newsletter. In a video clip sent to fans in April, a teary-eyed Jennifer can be seen smiling as she proudly shows off the gorgeous, green engagement ring on her finger. She then remarks, “You’re perfect.”

Gary Lineker responds to accusation he is ‘pushing agenda’ over climate change warning | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Gary Lineker, 61, took to Twitter earlier today to issue a warning on the “terrifying” effects of climate change amid the ongoing heatwave. The Match of the Day presenter claimed that the lack of action was a “catastrophic mistake”, sparking backlash from other social media users.

Gary retweeted a post featuring a screenshot of a headline that claimed Britain was set to go “into meltdown over 106F hottest day ever” on Monday.

The alarming headline also claimed that “health bosses warn ambulances could catch fire in queues outside hospitals”.

The screengrab was accompanied by a caption written by Twitter user, MrMatthewTodd, who said: “You know this is just the beginning, don’t you?

“Talked to some famous people last night who didn’t understand that almost all climate scientists agree, and what eventually comes is crop failure which leads to civil unrest and widespread violence. Watch Breaking Boundaries asap.”

Gary appeared to throw his support behind the message as he added that the situation was “terrifying”.

Quote-tweeting the post, Gary wrote: “Terrifying that we’re not doing everything possible immediately to address climate change.

“A catastrophic mistake,” the TV star concluded.

Professional boxer Anthony Fowler was among the online users who differed with the former professional footballer, accusing him of “pushing an agenda”.

But Gary’s remarks sparked debate as some accused him of not doing his part to help stop climate change, while others pointed out the changes he had introduced to his life to avoid contributing to it.

Ferafestiva23 said: “Yet you still drive that Merc and are flying to Qatar.

“When you start practising what you preach people may be more inclined to listen. Don’t you get that?

“We’re fed up with being lectured on our carbon footprints by people who ignore their own.”

Why the 1997 Murder of Gianni Versace Is Still So Haunting

But in 1997, especially in those first few days, even the most basic of questions—had Cunanan ever met Versace, what was his relationship to the owner of the houseboat where he was found dead, did he have HIV/AIDS (he didn’t), why did he kill five people in three months, why did he kill Versace, did he kill Versace—abounded.

The youngest of four children and a native of National City, Calif., in true made-for-TV fashion Cunanan was handsome, well-groomed, witty, intelligent and cultivated, in the sense that he schooled himself in the finer things in life so that he would be ready to immerse himself in those finer things when his time came—and he hobnobbed just enough with the upper crust to make his stories of living the jet-set life believable. He certainly knew who Versace was but, though they’re said to have crossed paths about seven years before the murders, there’s no evidence that he ever particularly registered in the super-star designer’s consciousness.

Basically, if Patricia Highsmith hadn’t written the story in 1955, The Talented Mr. Ripley could’ve been inspired by Andrew Cunanan. But at the end of the day, he didn’t look like someone you would see on the street, or even at your door, and be afraid of.

At some point in 1996, he moved out of the home of a wealthy La Jolla businessman, whom he sometimes accompanied to social events, where he’d been living for about a year. No one knew what prompted his change in address, though it didn’t seem to have been Cunanan’s idea.

In April 1997, Cunanan told friends he was moving to San Francisco (where he had lived for awhile after dropping out of college) but was first flying to Minnesota to “settle some business.”

Emma Watson’s ‘savage dig’ at JK Rowling during BAFTAs over transgender row unveiled | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Her stance has caused fans and stars like Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Eddie Redmayne to speak out against her opinions.

Emma took to the stage to present the award of Best Outstanding British Film at the Royal Albert Hall back in March.

After she was introduced by host Rebel Wilson, she appeared to make a savage dig at the best-selling author following her controversial comments on transgender women.

As Rebel, 42, welcomed Emma to the stage, the Australian actress quipped: “Here to present the next award is Emma Watson. She calls herself a feminist, but we all know she’s a witch.”

Being “in shape” sounds cool and all, but doing what it takes to get to that point is not super appealing to me. I’m not gonna lie, I am an indoor girl, who prefers watching Real Housewives instead of going out for a run. Ideally, I would like to get both of those things done, so of course, I’ve done some shopping in my quest to find some personal balance.

If you loathe working out, but you want to reach your health and fitness goals, I found some great products that allow me to multitask while I watch reality TV, make the most out of my normal routine, and actually make working up a sweat more fun than it normally is.

Chris Evans Says He’s “Laser-Focused” on Finding a Partner

Chris Evans is a man on a mission!

In a video interview with Shondaland, the Captain America star was asked what he is “laser-focused” on in life. He responded, “Maybe [I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with.”

Chris, who stars in Netflix’s new film The Gray Man, continued, “I mean, look, I love what I do. It’s great. I pour all of myself into it. But…even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into. Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with.”

The Buzz Lightyear actor, 41, has dated and been romantically linked to several actresses, while Lizzo famously slid into his DMs last year. And while Chris hasn’t found that life partner quite yet, he doesn’t go home to an empty house: He lives with his best friend, his dog Dodger.

How Wes Bergmann Already Spent His The Challenge Prize Money

Remember when The Challenge star Wes Bergmann infamously told Johnny Bananas that he had “a BMW, a Porsche, a monster truck, and 30 companies” during Rivals II in 2013? Well, you can now add a Lamborghini to that iconic list.

Wes, one of the long-running MTV franchise’s most iconic personalities, added another impressive feat to his stacked resume: winning season three of The Challenge: All Stars, his first outing on the Paramount+ spinoff. After being dubbed the male winner—with Jonna Mannion nabbing a back-to-back victory for the females—the 37-year-old entrepreneur vowed to make a splashy purchase with his $250,000 prize. And Wes stayed true to his word, confirming to E! News that a very extravagant car is now in his garage.

“I know everyone’s playing for all sorts of different reasons,” The Real World: Austin veteran said, “but, like, hasn’t everyone always wanted a Lamborghini? I feel like it’s actually more responsible to buy a Lamborghini than it would be to support my family.”

Karren Brady backs Liz Truss for PM but says she came across ‘uptight’ and ‘unfeeling’ | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

“But I was impressed when she stood up to Rishi Sunak, who sneered at her plans to pay off the Covid debt over a longer period.

“Instead of retreating, Liz stood firm and hit back, criticising the former chancellor’s national insurance hike. It was a reminder of why she’s my kind of woman.”

Although Karren says Liz has her vote, she felt that Rishi Sunak was the most convincing of the night.

The business executive also highlighted Liz’s outfit choice, which many thought was a recreation of one of Margaret Thatcher’s famous looks.
